Leicester City placed under lockdown 30/06/2020

Following a localised spike in coronavirus infections in Leicester city, lockdown easing rules have been reversed as the UK government places the city under local lockdown  

Anglesey potentially locked down

The Welsh government is considering the introduction of a local lockdown following a coronavirus outbreak at a meat processing plant

It was confirmed that a total of 158 people have now been diagnosed at the 2 Sisters chicken processing plant in Llangefni, Anglesey.

Public Health Wales said that 83 more people linked to the meat plant had tested positive as of 3pm on Sunday - in addition to the 75 who had tested positive as of 3pm on Saturday.

Public disturbance follows local lockdown in Göttingen,Germany

Seven-hundred people were placed in quarantine, but about 200 who attempted to escape clashed with police.
